I recently moved downtown and as an avid biker, I love being close enough to things to park my car and bike wherever I need to go. Unfortunately, I've found that wherever I need to go does not have anywhere to safely lock my bike. I find myslef locking it to inappropriate things like benches, stop signs, trash cans, or virtually any fixed piece of metal ouside of a building.
I know that Frederick is moving forward with bike centered and projects, so maybe this can go along as a simple project. Probably not. But, we can fight the good fight and well, give it a go anyway.
